The Woodland Pytchley Hunt is situated in the picturesque countryside of North East Northamptonshire. We pride ourselves on the fact that we are a friendly pack, suitable for all ages and riding abilities. We hunt on Tuesdays and Saturdays from September through to April, with additional days fitted in over the Christmas Holiday period.

Since the ban on Foxhunting in February 2005, the Woodland Pytchley Hunt has undertaken a variety of legal activities to entertain our subscribers, including laying artificial trails, hound exercise and flushing to a bird of prey. Like many packs of foxhounds across the country, we have managed to keep the infrastructure of the hunt very much intact, keeping the same number of staff, horses and hounds as we did before the ban, so that when the ludicrous Hunting Act is assigned to history, foxhunting can resume as usual without too much of a problem.
